Online Music Monster Maker Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Open to all UK residents aged 16 years or over, except employees of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and EMAP, or associated companies, their families, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. All instructions for creating a Music Monster on the www.mymusicmonster.co.uk website form part of the Terms and Conditions.
  3. To enter, individuals must: a) create a Music Monster following the instructions on the website b) opt into the competition by clicking on the appropriate link as directed c) complete and submit the mandatory fields in full and d) confirm they have read these Terms and Conditions in full.
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, mis-directed, damaged or undelivered, whether due to technical difficulties affecting electronic communication or for any reason whatsoever.
  5. The competition is open from 27th November 2007 to 29th February 2008.
  6. By entering all entrants are bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  7. Winning Music Monsters will be selected by an independent judge from all entries received based on the originality and creativity of the entries provided.
  8. There will be three winners selected each month. There will be 1 main winner and two runner-ups. The winning entries will appear on the winner’s podium in the online gallery.
  9. Each month the main winner will receive a W960i Sony Ericsson Walkman® phone and the two runner-ups will receive a W580i Sony Ericsson Walkman® phone.
  10. Winners will be notified by email or phone within one month of the closing date.
  11. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be made by any one individual. If an individual is awarded more than one winning Music Monster, they shall only be entitled to one phone.
  12. By entering this competition individuals agree to assign all copyright in their design to Sony Ericsson. Individuals must note that Sony Ericsson may use their Music Monsters created via the website on any marketing related communications or publicity as it decides appropriate without compensation.
  13. Winners may be required to participate in related publicity, including the use of the winner’s name and image as determined by the promoter.
  14. The promoter cannot accept responsibility for inappropriate use of any of the Music Monsters developed on this site by parties outside its control.
  15. There is no cash or other prize alternatives available, except in the event of circumstances outside its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide a similar alternative of equal or greater value.
  16. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. For the names of the winner and judges please send a SAE to “Music Monster competition”, iris, 185 Park Street, London, SE1 9DY.
  18. In the event that the promoter cannot make contact with the winner within 14 days of selection, winner forfeits their right to the prize and promoter reserves the right to choose the next runner up as winner instead.
